Andy Clarke is one of boxing's most respected and credible voices worldwide, serving as the lead commentator for Sky Sports Boxing.
His broadcasting journey began at talkSPORT in 2000. Starting as a reporter, he spent a decade honing his craft, eventually rising to become the station's lead football reporter. In this role, he covered the Premier League, Champions League, major domestic and European finals, Euro 2004, and was talkSPORT’s England correspondent at the 2006 World Cup.
Seeking a move into television, Andy gained experience as a pitchside reporter on Channel 5’s European football coverage before transitioning into commentary. He lent his voice to Premier League matches for Sky and the Premier League's world feed, La Liga for Sky, and the EFL for Pitch International.
In 2012, Andy brought his expertise to the world of boxing, commentating for leading platforms including Sky, Channel 5, BBC, BT Sport, DAZN, and talkSPORT. He became an integral part of the Sky Boxing team in 2016 and now holds the prestigious position of their lead commentator. His voice is also familiar to US audiences through regular appearances on ESPN+ and as a studio analyst on major ESPN pay-per-view events.
Andy's passion for boxing and wealth of broadcasting experience have taken him ringside in 25 countries – from calling landmark stadium fights featuring Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury in the UK, to the epic conclusion of the Fury vs Wilder trilogy in Las Vegas, World Amateur Championships in Kazakhstan, and Olympic boxing qualifiers worldwide. His versatility was further showcased covering various sports for the Olympic Broadcast Service at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games, solidifying his reputation as a world-class broadcaster.
